Our signature dish: Cuscus


In its repertoire of first courses, Nautilus' flagship dish is cuscus di pesce alla Trapanese, a delicious dish of Maghreb influence that ranks among the most popular and renowned in traditional Sicilian cuisine. This fish delicacy has humble origins, having taken shape in the dwellings of fishermen, who used a few simple ingredients to enrich the catch of the day. Its preparation follows the ancient tradition, with the ncocciatura of durum wheat semolina, cooking in the cuscusiera and the final touch given by the local fish soup.
